For 2018, the agenda is packed with sessions that focus on content selected by industry professionals through a survey Xplor conducted earlier this year. Presenters will be a diverse group of end users, industry analysts, consultants, and vendor subject matter experts.

“We surveyed the industry for feedback on what they wanted to see as part of the conference agenda and then lined up a great group of speakers to deliver it” says Skip Henk, President and CEO of Xplor International. “The only session we have yet to announce is our keynote session, but be on the lookout for that announcement after the first of the year!”

Xplor Announces First Timer Recognition Program for Xploration® 18

The Program Provides Complimentary Conference Passes to Qualified Applicants

Lutz, FL – December 5, 2017 – Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced the return of the First Timer Recognition Program for their annual conference, Xploration® 18, that is being held April 17-19, 2018 in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Plaza.

In its first two years, the First Timer Recognition Program has given over 150 end user attendees a complimentary full-conference pass, a $1099 value. Xplor is once again recognizing qualified first time attendees by providing them with a complimentary full-conference pass and an open invitation to come and see what the Xploration conference is all about. The complimentary conference pass entitles the recipient to attend all Xplor educational sessions, general sessions, keynotes and networking events.

“The First Timer Recognition Program, now in its third year, is unique to the Xplor event” says Skip Henk, President and CEO of Xplor International. “Our goal was to bring new end users to the event to keep things fresh and provide new insight and energy. Application of the Year Award
The Application of the Year Award is presented to an individual, a company or an organization to recognize outstanding achievement in the imaginative application of current technology and/or unique implementation of existing document and communication systems. This award is open to members and non-members.

Technology of the Year Award
The Technology of the Year Award honors an individual, company or organization that has conceived and developed an original concept leading to a significant advancement in the industry.   This can be a new program, product or technology that notably enhances the capabilities of document and communication systems. This award is open to members and non-members.

The Brian Platte Lifetime Achievement Award
Established in 2007, this award is given to an individual whose efforts and contributions have significantly changed the course and development of the digital document and customer communications industry. This award is open to members and non-members.

Xplorer of the Year
For over 20 years, Xplor International has honored an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the association. The Xplorer of the Year honors significant service to the association, dedication to the Xplor mission, and notable achievement promoting the interest of the electronic document systems industry.  Only current members of Xplor International, who are not on the Association Board of Directors, are eligible.

Sold-out Minneapolis Xploration Tour is a Huge Success

The One-Day Event Blended Education and Networking in the Most Unique Format to Date

Lutz, FL – November 20, 2017 – Xplor International today announced that the Xploration Tour in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 15, 2017, sponsored by NEPS, was a huge success.

The Xploration Tour is designed to provide educational programming, information, and networking opportunities to members as well as industry professionals across North America.

The one-day event featured an industry analyst overview by Matt Swain of Keypoint Intelligence – InfoTrends, three educational sessions including Lindsay Milne, VP of Marketing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and a panel discussion featuring the day’s speakers. Xplor International Issues 2018 Conference Call for Presentations

Two-and-a-half Day Event to Host Educational Sessions, a Vendor Forum, and Networking Events

Lutz, FL – October 2, 2017 Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, has issued a “call for presentations” for their annual event, Xploration® 18, taking place April 17-19, 2018 at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando, Florida. The event will feature four distinct tracks which include over 45 educational sessions and a keynote, in addition to the vendor forum and daily networking events.

For the 2018 event, Xplor distributed a survey to past attendees, members, and the industry requesting information about what topics they wanted to see at the event. After an overwhelming response, the Xplor team compiled all the responses and created the tracks and topics that you will see at Xploration 18 based on that feedback.

Xplor has opened up the call for presentations with the ability to submit as either a Session Presenter or a Panelist. After tremendous feedback from the 2017 event, Xplor is continuing to offer session presenters the option of a 25-minute Lightning Learning or a 50-minute Deep Dive timeslot for 2018.

Session submissions should include case studies and address: what the subject is, why it is important, and how is it implemented. Due to past demand, we can only accept one entry per person for session presenters, so choose your best one! Those selected will be notified of the status of their submission in November.

If selected as a session presenter or a panelist, business end users will enjoy the conference with a complimentary Platinum Passport.  Industry partners/vendors will receive a discounted rate of $535 for the Platinum Passport, which is a savings of up to 50%!

Xploration® 17 Well Received by Attendees

Xplor’s Annual Event Deemed a Success

Lutz, FL – April 11, 2017 – Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced that they deemed Xploration® 17 a success. Xploration® 17 was held in Orlando, Florida from March 28-30, 2017 at the Caribe Royale Orlando.

Xploration® 17 provided information, best practices and insight into the changing customer communications industry. The event featured over 60 educational sessions presented by end users, industry analysts, industry consultants, and subject matter experts who shared real world examples and case studies.

“The dynamics of the event are changing.  Our introduction of new educational content, coupled with our push towards driving the event to a user focused conference, produced the results we were looking for.” said Skip Henk, EDP, President and CEO of Xplor. “Next week we start planning Xploration® 18, which will take place April 17-19, 2018 at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando, Florida.”

Vendor registrations were down 20% with end-user attendance up by some 8% from the previous year. First time attendance was approximately 42%. Additionally, 16% of attendees came from outside of the United States. International attendance included delegates from Canada, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, and Peru.

Acadami to Again Host Production Workflow Basics Course in Conjunction with the Xploration® 17 Program

Two-day course is Included as part of full-conference registration

Lutz, FL — February 1, 2017—Xplor International today announced that acadami will once again present their two-day Electronic Document Body of Knowledge Production Workflow Basics course as part of the Xploration® 17 conference, being held March 28-30 at the Caribe Royale Orlando in Florida. The ten module course makes up the “fundamentals” educational track of the conference. Acadami classes are recognized internationally for their electronic and transactional document courses.

The course, based on A Guide to the Electronic Document Body of Knowledge (EDBOK) available at www.edbok.org, provides industry professionals a standard that establishes a base level of knowledge about document application development and production for the industry as well as providing a road map for the next generation of industry professionals.

This EDBOK-based program focuses on the EDBOK Document Production Workflow.

“This is a great opportunity for people new to the industry as well as veterans”, says Skip Henk, President and CEO of Xplor, “In two days attendees can get a baseline of knowledge as well as better understand the components and processes of the transactional document industry.”

Attendees participating in all 10 modules are eligible to participate in an optional final exam to earn 20 Education Credits towards an EDA designation or EDP certification. Current EDPs will earn 20 re-certification Credits. The class is limited to 30 attendees.

Graduates will also receive a complimentary copy of A Guide to the Electronic Document Body of Knowledge – 1st Edition, a $150 value.

Attendance is included with the Xploration 17 Platinum Passport registration.
